Chap. 100.—An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Nottoway county
to levy a sufficient tax in addition to all other levies authorized by law to
be laid for general district or county school purposes to pay the interest on
and principal of certain bonds, and money borrowed from the literary fund,
as the same shall become due. {[S B 106}

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the board of supervisors of Nottoway county be, and they are hereby,
authorized to levy annually upon the property in any district in said
county which has issued bonds for district school purposes under any
act of the general assembly, or has borrowed money from the literary
fund, a sufficient tax on the property by law subject to taxation for
district school purposes, in such school district, in addition to the
annual levy authorized by law to be laid for all other district or county
school purposes, to pay the interest on, and the principal of, such
bonds and indebtedness as the same shall annually accrue and mature.
This act shall apply to bonds already issued or to be hereafter issued
and money heretofore or hereafter borrowed from the literary fund
by any board of school trustees of said county.
