Chap. 88.—An ACT to amend section 741 of the Code of Virginia. (H B 64]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
seven hundred and forty-one of the Code of Virginia be amended
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

Sec. 741. Boards of supervisors may make certain appropriations
to public schools——The board of supervisors of any county may, in
its discretion, appropriate to the support and maintenance of the
schools in any school district of the county, such sums as in its judg-
ment may be necessary or expedient.
