CHAP. 83.—An ACT validating certificates of acknowledgment taken by notaries
public who served in the army, navy, or marine corps of the United States
during the late war with Germany and Austria-Hungary. [H B 52]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That all
ertificates of acknowledgement to deeds and other writings hereto-
fore taken and certified in this State by notaries public who served
in the army, navy or marine corps of the United States during the
late war with Germany and Austria-Hungary, shall be held, and the
same are hereby declared, valid and effective in all respects, if other-
wise valid according to law then in force.
