. county to levy a sufficient tax in addition to the levy authorized by law,
to be laid for general district school purposes, to pay the interest on and
principal of certain bonds as the same shall become due. | [S B 24]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
board of supervisors of Page county be, and it is hereby, authorized,
and required to levy annually upon the property of any district in
said county which has issued bonds for district school purposes under
any act of the general assembly, a sufficient tax on the property in
such school district, in addition to the annual levy authorized by law
to be laid for general district school purposes, to pay the interest on
and principal of such bonds as the same shall annually accrue
ormature. This act shall apply to bonds already issued or to be here-
after issued by any board of school trustees of said county. .... .

An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its passage. .
