CHAP. 444.—An ACT for the protection of fish in the waters of Clinch river
and its tributaries, in the county of Russell. {H B
Approved March 24, 1920.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it
shall be unlawful for any person to kill, take or catch fish from the
waters of Clinch river or its tributaries, in Russell county, by the use
of dynamite or fish berries. ;
2. <Any person violating any provision of this act shall be guilty
of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined not less than
twenty-five nor more than one hundred dollars, or be confined in
jail not less than thirty nor more than sixty days, or by both such
fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the tribunal trying the
case.
