1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall
be unlawful for any person to hunt, trap or kill muskrat in the counties
of Essex, Charles City, James City, New Kent, York and Warwick,
from the first day of April to the fifteenth day of December of each
year.
2. Any person violating the provisions of this act shall be guilty
of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction, shall be fined not less than
five nor more than fifty dollars.
3. It shall be the duty of the game wardens of this State to en-
force the provisions of this act, and for their services they shall receive
the same fees provided for in an act entitled an act to create the State
department of game and inland fisheries, approved March eleventh,
nineteen hundred and sixteen, and act amendatory thereof.
