Chap. 206.—An ACT concerning depositories for the funds of Culpeper county
and the interest on such funds. _ H B 453]
Approved March 16, 1920. .
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
treasurer of the county of Culpeper shall select some State or national
banks or banking institutions as depositories for all county and dis-
trict taxes, funds and license fees, and shall deposit his collections at
interest in such banks or banking institutions as he may select.
2. The said treasurer shall receive a commission of five per centum
on all interest money received under this act.
3. Nothing in this act shall be construed to decrease or diminish
in any way the liability of said treasurer as insurer of the funds in
his hands, nor shall anything herein contained be construed to de-
crease or diminish the responsibilities of sureties on the official bonds
of said treasurer.
4. Interest accruing on deposits as aforesaid shall be placed to
the credit of the general fund of the county.
