Chap. 80.—An ACT to appropriate a sum sufficient to increase the salaries
and wages of the officers and employees of the State Farm ten per
centum. [S B 82]

Approved September 9, 1919.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
there be, and the same is hereby appropriated, out of any moneys
in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, a sum sufficient to
increase the salaries and wages of all officers and employees of
the State farm ten per centum until the expiration of the cur-
rent appropriation year, February twenty-ninth, nineteen hun-
dred and twenty, said increase to be effective from and after the
passage of this act and to be paid to those entitled thereto
monthly.

2. An emergency existing by reason of the increased cost
of living this act shall be in force from its passage.
