Chap. 39.—An ACT to appropriate the sum of $15,000 to the convict lime
board to-enable it to pay for machinery and equipment. [H B 75]

Approved September 5, 1919.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the sum of fifteen thousand dollars be, and the:same is hereby,
appropriated, out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise
appropriated, to the convict lime board .to enable said board to
pay for necessary machinery and equipment already purchased
for lime plants. The sum hereby appropriated shall be paid on
warrants of the auditor of public accounts, issued upon vouchers
signed by the chairman of the convict lime board.

2. It being advisable that the machinery and equipment
mentioned in this act be paid for at as early a date as practicable,
an emergency is declared to exist, and this act shall be in force
from its passage.
