Chap. 89.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 2 of an act entitled an
act to provide for the protection of certain fur-benring animals in the
county of Loudoun, approved February 9, 1916. {li B 168]
Approved March 4, 1918.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That sec-
tion two of an act entitled an act to provide for the protection of
certain fur-bearing animals in the county of Loudoun, approved
February ninth, nineteen hundred and sixteen, be amended and re-
enacted so as to read as follows:
Sec. 2. Any person who shall trap any of the animals men-
tioned in this act, on any property other than his own, or that
which he rents or controls, and every person who shall trap any of
the said animals at any time, except in the open season, as above
set forth, shall be fined five dollars for the first offense, and ten dol-
lars for each subsequent offense, one-half of which shall be paid to
the person furnishing proof of the violation of the law, and one-
half shall be paid into the road fund of the county of Loudoun.
3. Any funds heretofore collected shall be placed to the credit
of the county school fund.
