Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virgina, That. the
assent of the Commonwealth of Virginia is hereby given to the
terms and provisions of an act of congress. approved July 11. 1916.
entitled an act to provide that the United States shall aid the States
in the construction of rural post roads, and for other purposes, and
the State highway commissioner is hereby empowered and directed
to have prepared and to submit all such plans, specifications and
data relating to the construction of roads and bridges as may be
required under the terms of this act, and the State highway com-
missioner is hereby authorized to do any and all things necessary to
carry out the provisions of said act of congress.
