Chap. 357.—An ACT to prevent minors from frequenting, playing in or loi-
tering in public pool rooms, billiard rooms, outside of the corporate lim-
its of towns and cities. [S B 209]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
no minor shall frequent, play in or loiter in any public pool rooms
or billiard room, or be permitted by the proprietor thereof or his
agent, to frequent, play in or loiter in any such public pool room
or billiard room located outside of the corporate limits of towns
and cities.
2. Any minor and any such proprietor violating the provisions
of this act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and punished by a fine
of not less than five dollars or by imprisonment in jail not more
than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
8. But nothing in this act shall apply to any pool room or
billiard room located at a health resort with a natural mineral
spring.
