Chap. 198.—An ACT to authorize the board of visitors of the College of
William and Mary, in Virginia, to convey a part of its real estate.

Approved March 14, 1918.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
board of visitors of the College of William and Mary, in Virginia,
be, and they are hereby authorized and empowered, to grant and
convey to W. P. Clark, one of the professors of said college, a small
portion of the real estate belonging to said college, beginning at a
point on the western line of the college property, where same inter-
sects with the line of W. P. Clark and running thence almost at
right angles a distance of twenty-five feet, thence in a southerly
direction the distance of one hundred and twenty feet, to the south-
ern line of said W. P. Clark, thence in a continuation of said south-
ern line in an easterly course the distance of forty-two feet, thence
in a northerly course the distance of one hundred and twenty feet to
point of beginning.
2. The said land to be sold upon such terms and for such price
as the said board of visitors may agree upon, the proceeds to be de-
rived therefrom shall be added to the present endowment fund of
said college and shall constitute a part thereof.
