Chap. 194.—An ACT to prohibit the killing of deer for a period of three years,
and of elk for a period of five years, in the counties of Botetourt, Bland,
Alleghany, Giles, Montgomery, Craig, Pulaski, Russell, Rockbridge,
Franklin, Rockingham, Wythe and Patrick. ([H B 402]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it
shall be unlawful for any person to hunt, kill or capture in any
manner, deer for a period of three years, and elk for a period of five
ears, from the first day of October, nineteen hundred and eighteen,
in the counties of Botetourt, Bland, Giles, Craig, Pulaski, Alle hany,
Russell, Montgomery, Rockbridge, Franklin, Rockingham, Wythe
and Patrick.
2. Any person violating the provisions of this act shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof, shall be
fined not less than two hundred and fifty dollars, or confined in the
county jail not less than thirty days.
