Chap. 148.—An ACT to prevent the setting or using of fish nets or fish traps

within James river within or opposite the corporation limits of the city

of Lynchburg. [H B 89]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That here-
after it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to use
or set any nets or fish traps of any kind or description within James
river within or opposite the corporation limits of the city of Lynch-
burg.

5 Any violation of this act shall be punishable by a fine of not
less than five dollars and not more than twenty-five dollars for each
offense.
