CHAP. 118.—An ACT to prohibit the killing of deer in the county of Buck-
ingham for the term of five years. (H. B. 414.)

. Approved March 4, 1916.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be unlawful to kill, capture or chase deer in Bucking-
1am county for the term of five years beginning November first,
nineteen hundred and sixteen, and ending November first nine-
een hundred and twenty-one.

2. Anyone violating the provisions of this act shall be guilty
ff a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined
1ot exceeding one hundred dollars and confined in jail not ex-
‘eeding six months, either or both, in the discretion of the jus-
ice or court trying the case. The justices of the peace and the
ircuit court shall have concurrent jurisdiction in the trial of
ill violations of this act.

3. All acts and parts of acts inconsistent with this act are
1ereby repealed.
