Botetourt county to erect and maintain toll gates on the macadamized

Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the board of
supervisors of Botetourt county is hereby authorized and empowered,
at its discretion, to erect and maintain toll gates on such roads in the
aforesaid county as the said board may have heretofore macadamized
or may hereafter macadamize, charging thereon such toll as the afore-
said board may deem advisable and proper, with the right to grant
rebates on tollage to any persons, who may have paid anything out of
their private funds toward the construction of any such roads.
