county of Middlesex and to provide a penalty for the violation thereof,

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That an act
approved March 13, 1912, entitled an act to protect pheasants in the
county of Middlesex be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
Section 2. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be unlawful for any person to hunt, kill, or capture, at any time,
in the day or night, within the county of Middlesex any species of pheas-
ants for a period of two years from the first day of November, nineteen
hundred and fifteen. Any person violating any of the provisions of this
act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof
shall be fined not less than five nor more than fifty dollars.
