Chap. 46.—An ACT to appropriate the sum of $55,000.00 to reimburse the
superintendent of the penitentiary and to be used for the establishment
and maintenance of the convict road force as provided by an act
approved March 6, 1906, known as the Lassiter, Withers act. (S. B. 61)

Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the sum of
y-five thousand dollars be, and the same is hereby appropriated out
the funds not heretofore appropriated for the following purposes
aely:
1. Fifteen thousand dollars to reimburse the superintendent of the
itentiary for the maintenance of convict road camps during the year
n March first, nineteen hundred and fourteen to March first, nineteen
dred and fifteen.
2. Fifteen thousand dollars additional amount necessary to defray
cost of the camps now in the field from March first, nineteen hundred
| fifteen to March first, nineteen hundred and sixteen.
3. Six thousand dollars to buy the necessary camps, clothing, etc., to
blish three additional convict road camps.
4, Nineteen thousand dollars to maintain three additional convict
d camps for the year from March first, nineteen hundred and fifteen
March first, nineteen hundred and sixteen.
