act to provide how trust companies may be incorporated, and to provide
for general powers for the purpose of doing a trust business in this State,

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That all na-
tional banks which have been, or hereafter may be, permitted by law
to act as trustee and in other fiduciary capacities, shall have all the
rights, powers, privileges and immunities conferred upon trust com-
panies by an act of the general assembly of Virginia, entitled an act to
provide how trust companies may be incorporated, and to provide for
general powers for the purpose of doing a trust business in this State
in addition to a general banking business. Approved March 27, 1914.
