from all parts of our country will come; and
Whereas, this will be perhaps the last reunion of the United Con-

Whereas, so many of the old veterans in Virginia are not able to

hands once more with old comrades that they have not seen in fifty
years, now, therefore,

boards of supervisors of the several counties of the State and councils
of the cities and towns of the State are hereby authorized in their dis-
cretion to appropriate money out of the county and city or town funds
to defray the necessary expenses of the Confederate veterans of said
counties, cities and towns desiring to attend the reunion of the United
Confederate Veterans in Richmond on June first, second, and third,
nineteen hundred and fifteen. The number of veterans to have their
expenses paid be left to the discretion of the board of supervisors of the
counties and the councils of cities and towns.
