1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
auditor of public accounts be and is hereby.authorized and directed to
draw his warrant on the treasurer of Virginia, payable out of any funds
not otherwise appropriated, in favor of first Lieutenant James G. Earnest,
treasurer of the Richmond Light Infantry Blues Battalion, for the sum
of seven thousand five hundred dollars ($7,500.00) to be used for the
purpose of helping to defray the expenses of the said Battalien as escort
to the governor of Virginia on Virginia Day at the Panama Pacific
Internation Exposition, at San Francisco, California.
