Chap. 108.—An ACT for the relief of Henry Roach of Charlotte county.

Whereas, Henry Roach of Charlotte county upon a warrant issued
against him by a justice of the said county, dated January ninth, nine-
teen hundred and fifteen, charging him with a violation of the revenue
law of the State, was arrested and fined by the said justice twenty-five
dollars and cost, one dollar and fifty cents, which fine and cost the
said Henry Roach has paid, and
Whereas, upon an appeal to the circuit court of Charlotte county
taken by the said Henry Roach within the time allowed by law, from
the decision of the said justice, the said circuit court acquitted the said
Roach of the charge made against him in the said justice’s warrant,
and he is entitled to have said fine and cost paid back to him and no
other remedy being allowed to him, therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the audi-
tor of public accounts be and he is hereby authorized and directed to issue
his warrant in favor of Henry Roach of Charlotte county for twenty-six
dollars and fifty cents.
