1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That

an act to authorize the county of Norfolk to acquire the toll roads
and toll bridges in said county, and to issue bonds for that purpose.
be, and the same is, hereby repealed, but such repeal shall not affect
or impair the validity of bonds issued and sold under or by virtue
of said act prior to the passage of this act; and upon the passage
of this act it shall be the duty of the treasurer and chairman cf the
board of supervisors of said county, to execute, acknowledge and
file for recordation in the clerk’s office of said county, a staternent,
under oath, showing the number and amount of bonds previously
issued and sold under said first mentioned act.
