between Big Stone Gap and Appalachia, in Wise county, Virginia.
(S. B. 394.)
Approved March 27, 1914.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be unlawful for any person to speed an automobile on any
part of the road between the corporate limits of the towns of Big
Stone Gap and Appalachia, in Wise county, Virginia; and the
corporation authorities of the said towns of Big Stone Gap and
Appalachia are hereby given the right to proceed against anyone
who shall speed an automobile at a greater speed on the said road
than is allowed within the limits of the said corporations, and the
said corporation authorities are hereby allowed to prosecute for such

county laws. And the said corporations of Big Stone Gap and
Appalachia shall have the right to impose a fine upon any person
who shall be guilty of speeding an automobile on the said road at
a speed greater than that allowed within the limits of their respec-

proceedings by one corporation for any such offense to debar the
institution of any other proceedings for the same offense by the
other corporation.
