Chap. 284.—An ACT to authorize and empower the boards of supervisors of
counties and councils of cities and towns in the State to appropriate
money for advertising their resources. (S. B. 330.)

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the boards of supervisors of counties and the councils of the cities
‘and towns of the State be authorized and empowered in their dis-
cretion to expend not exceeding one percentum of their annual
revenues from all sources in advertising and giving publicity to
their resources and advantages. ,
