Chap. 265.—An ACT to authorize the school boards of Sulphur Springs
school district, Piper Gap school district, and Fancy Gap school] district,
in Carroll county, to purchase and hold certain real estate. (H. B. 470.)

1. Be it enacted by the general asserbly of Virginia, That the
school boards for Sulphur Springs schcol district, Piper Gap school
district, and Fancy Gap school district, in Carroll county, or either
of them, be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to pur-
chase and hold a certain property at Wood Lawn, Virginia, known
as the Wood Lawn school boarding hall, including a lot of land
not exceeding one acre, upon which said boar ding hall is situated,
to be held by said schcol boards for their uses and purposes in
connection with the Wood Lawn high school, at Wood Lawn, Vir-
ginia; but any purchase under this ‘act before it becomes legal and
binding must first be approved and ratified by the county scuvol
board of Carroll county by a proper order entered upon its records.
