Chap. 188.—An ACT to prohibit the sale of cider, and other drinks contain-
ing over one-half of 1 per cent. alcohol within 1 mile of the public
school building, in the village of Capron, Southampton county, Virginia.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation, to sell cider,
or any other drink containing over one-half of one percentum
. alcohol within one mile of the public school building in the village
' of Capron, Southampton county, Virginia.
2. <Any one violating the provisions of this act shall be guilty
of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not
exceeding twenty dollars.
3. On account of the said public school now being in session
- an emergency therefore exists, and this act shall be in force from
its passage.
