1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section seven of an act for working the roads of Amherst county,
approved February twentieth, nineteen hundred and twelve, be
amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
Sec. 7. But it is herein provided that after the establishment of
tcll gates as hereinbefore mentioned, and the same have continued
for two years, the board of supervisors be, and they are, hereby
authorized and empowered to continue these toll gates so long as
it is necessary for the maintenance of these macadam roads.
