1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
Richard T. Ames be permitted to build a bridge across the south-
east branch of Onancock creek from a point on his own land
known as “Mount Prospect farm” to his own land known as
“Northam property,” and to the twenty-four foot street appurte-
nant to and for the benefit of said “Northam property”; provided,
said bridge shall be sufficiently high at full tide to allow lighters
and other small boats to pass under it.
