CHAP. 5.—An ACT to appropriate forty thousand dollars, or so much thereof
as may be necessary, for the purpose of paving to the several Confed-
erate pensioners on the rolls the ten per centum deducted from their
nineteen hundred and eleven pensions.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That forty thou-
sand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby
appropriated out of anv money in the treasury not otherwise
appropriated, to be used for the purpose of paving to the several
Confederate pensioners on the rolls, the ten per centum deducted
from their nineteen hundred and eleven pensions.

2. This being an emergency act, owing to the fact that the
pensioners are in need of the money, it shall be in force from its
passage.
