CHAP. 257.—An ACT to prevent the trapping of foxes in the Jefferson
magisterial district of the county of Culpeper except during the
months of November and December in any year, and requiring those
who trap foxes to visit their traps every day they so trap and re-
lease any dog or dogs that may have been caught in said traps.

Approved March 14, 1912.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be unlawful for any one to trap foxes in Jefferson magis-
terial district, in the county of Culpeper, except during the
months of November and December in any year, and those who
trap for foxes shall visit their traps every day they so trap and
release any dog or dogs that may have been caught In said traps.

2. Any one violating the provisions of this law shall be fined
not less than ten dollars nor more than fifty dollars.
