CHAP. 253.—An ACT to allow the council of the town of Rocky Mount,
Virginia, to appropriate from the town revenues a sum not exceeding
six thousand dollars to be used in the construction of a high school
building in said town.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the town council of the town of Rocky Mount, Virginia, be, and
it is hereby, authorized and empowered to appropriate from the
town revenues a sum not exceeding six thousand dollars to be
used in the construction of a high school building in the said
town. :
2. There being a necessity for the immediate construction of
the said building, an emergency is declared to exist and this act
shall be in force from its passage.
