Chap. 247.—An ACT to amend and re-enact an act to further preserve
and protect the game in the county of Patrick, approved March 15,
1910.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
an act to further preserve and protect the game in the county of
Patrick, approved March fifteen, nineteen hundred and ten, be
amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
§1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be unlawful for any person to kill or capture, buy or sell,
or offer for sale any wild raccoon, or oppossum, in the county of
Patrick, between the fifteenth day of March and the fifteenth
day of October in each year. And it shall also be unlawful for
any person to kill or capture, buy or sell, or offer for sale any
grey fox in the county of Patrick, between the fifteenth day of
March and the fifteenth day of September in each year. And
any person having any of them in their possession shall be prima
facie evidence of their guilt, and upon conviction thereof, shall
be fined not less than five dollars nor more than twenty-five dol-
lars for each offense.
