Chap. 188.—An ACT to authorize the payment of a salary to the chairman
of the board of supervisors of Albemarle county.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the board of supervisors of Albemarle county shall be authoriz-
ed by, and with the approval of the judge of the circuit court
of said county, in term time or vacation, to order and direct the
payment to its chairman a salary of not more than three hundred
dollars per annum, over and above the present allowances and
compensation to the said chairman, which said salary shall be
paid out of the county levy as other salaries are paid.
