CHAP. 134.—An ACT to allow the erection of a fountain in the city of
Alexandria, by the Mount Vernon Chapter of the Daughters of the
American Revolution, and to authorize the city council of Alexandria,
to grant permission for such erection.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
authority be, and it is, granted to the society in the city of
Alexandria, Virginia, known as Mount Vernon Chapter of the
Daughters of the American Revolution, after first obtaining the
permission of the city council of the city of Alexandria, Vir-
ginia, to erect a fountain in the streets of the city of Alexan-
dria, and be it further enacted that the city council of Alexan-
dria, Virginia, shall have full authority to grant such permission,
and to designate where such fountain may be erected.
