Chap. 117.—An ACT to permit the directors of the Western State Hospi
tal to sell and dispose of a right of way over a tract of land belongin:
to said hospital.

1. Be-it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, Tha
the special board of directors of the Western State tospita
be, and they are hereby, authorized to sell and dispose of, eithe
absolutely or with such limitations, conditions and restriction
as to said special board may seem proper, a right of way fo
a railway for use by cars run by electricity or other motive pow
er through, over and across the tract of farming land be'ongin:
to said hospital, known as the Peyton farm, lying about on
mile east of the city of Staunton, for such price as said specia
board may deem adequate, and to cause the same to be conveye
to the purchaser or purchasers by proper deed upon the pay
ment of the purchase money.
2. An emergency existing which makes immediate actio
necessary, this act shall be in force from its passage.
