CHAP. 100.—An ACT to provide how further proceedings are to be had on
the judgment of a justice of the peace, or of the mayor of a corporation,
from which an appeal has been allowed when the appeal is dismissed.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
whenever an appeal from the judgment of a justice of the peace,
or of the mayor of a corporation, either in a criminal or a civil
case, is dismissed on the motion of the appealing party, or for
cause, the circuit or corporation court, as the case may be, to
which the appeal was taken, shall proceed by execution or other-
wise to enforce the judgment from which the appeal was taken.
