Chap. 202.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 84 of an act entitled an
act to raise revenue for the support of the government and public free
schools and to pay the interest on the public debt, and to provide a
special tax for pensions as authorized by section 189 of the Constitution,
ee April 16, 1903, as amended by an act approved February 19,

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
ighty-four of an act entitled an act to raise revenue for the support of
fhe government and public free schools and to pay the interest on the
yublic debt, and to provide a special tax for pensions, as authorized by
ection one hundred and eighty-nine of the Constitution, approved April
sixteen, nineteen hundred and three, as amended by an act approved
Hebruary nineteen, nineteen hundred and four, be amended and re-
snacted so as to read as follows:
884. An insurance broker shall pay the sum of one hundred dollars
for the privilege of transacting such business. The license shall be
issued by the commissioner of insurance, and the tax shall be paid to
nim, and he shall pay the same into the treasury.
2. An emergency existing for the collection of these taxes, this act
shall be in force from its passage.
