Chap. 156.—An ACT providing for additional terms of the circuit court in the
city of Norfolk.

Approved March 10, 1908.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That there shall
be eight regular terms of the cireuit court of the city or Norfolk in each
vear, which terms shall commence on the fourth Monday in January,
February, March, April, June, October and November and the third
Monday in September.

2. All acts and parts of acts inconsistent with this act are hereby
repealed.

3. Inasmuch as it is proper for the convenient dispatch of business
that this act shall go into effect without delay, this is declared an
emergency under section fifty-three of the Constitution, and, therefore,
this act shall take effect from its passage.
