Chap. 114.—An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Lunenburg county
to appropriate money to Confederate monument.

Approved February 29, 1908.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the beard
of supervisors of Lunenburg county be, and they are hereby, authorized
and empowered to appropriate the sum of five hundred dollars ($500.00),
or so much thereof as is necessary, to assist the Confederate organiza-
tions of the county in erecting in the courthouse square a monument to
the memory of the Confederate soldiers of Lunenburg county.
