Chap. 77.—An ACT to authorize the special board of directors of the South-
western hospital to convey to the town of Marion a strip of land to be used
as a public street.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the special
board of directors of the Southwestern State hospital is hereby authorized
and empowered to convey to the town of Marion a strip of land of even
width with Main street of said town, running from the present north-
east terminus of said Main street to the east side of the avenue leading
from the hospital: provided, said town will grade said street and keep it
in proper repair.
2. In the event at any time said street so conveyed shall cease to be
used as a public street or highway, it shall revert to the said Southwestern
State hospital.
