Chap. 225.—An ACT to make guards at the Jamestown exposition conserva-
tors of the peace.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That all persons,
while performing guard, patrol, or watch duty under the authority of the
managing officers of the Jamestown exposition company, on the site of
the Jamestown tercentennial exposition, near Sewells’ Point, in Norfolk
county, Virginia, or within one mile thereof, or on the waters adjacent
thereto, during the period of said exposition, shall be conservators of the
peace, with authority to make arrests for all offenses against the laws of
this Commonwealth committed in their presence.
