Chap. 181.—An ACT to define what is pure apple cider within the meaning of
section 141 of chapter 20 of acts of 1904, approved February 19, 1904.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That pure apple
der mentioned in section one hundred and forty-one of chapter twenty
f acts of nineteen hundred and four, and other ciders, shall be construed
» mean the pure juice of the fruit used without admixture whatever,
‘cept preservatives, and not to contain more than seven and a half per
‘ntum of alcohol.
2. Any person violating the provisions of this act by selling as cider
ny liquid or mixture which does not conform to the first section of this
tt shall be deemed guilty of misdemeanor, and punished as provided by
«tton one hundred and forty-one of chapter twenty, acts of nineteen
undred and four, for selling wine, ardent spirits, malt liquors, or any
Vature of any of them, without license.
