Chap. 151.—An ACT to appropriate money to pay for twenty-five copies
Pollard’s Code purchased for the use of the general assembly.

Approved March 10, 1906.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the sum
two hundred and fifty dollars be, and the same is hereby, appropriated |
of any funds in the State treasury, not otherwise appropriated, to pay
West publishing company for twenty-five copies of Pollard’s code sold
the secretary of the Commonwealth and delivered to the clerks of |
senate and house of delegates for the use of the general assembly.

2. On the order of the secretary of the Commonwealth, the auditor
public accounts is hereby directed to draw his warrant on the State tre
uter for said amount, payable to the order of the West publishing cc
pany.

3. Owing to the fact that this purchase of books has been made o1
cash basis, an emergency exists for the immediate payment of said su
and therefore this act shall take effect from its passage.
