Chap. 182.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 1 of an act approved March
6, 1900, entitled an “‘act to provide for working, building and keeping in re-
pair the public roads and bridges in Grayson county.”

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That ecection
one of an act approved March the sixth, nineteen hundred, entitled “an
act to provide for working, building and keeping in repair the public
roads and bridges in Grayson county,” be amended and re-enacted so as
to read as follows:
§ 1. That it shall be the duty of the board of supervisors of Grayson
county annually during the month of Jume or as soon thereafter as is
practicable, in each year, to appoint a road overseer for each election
precinct in said county, who shall reside in his district, and shall hold
office for one year, from the date of his appoimtment, and until his suc-
cessor is appointed: and qualified, and who shall have charge of the roads
in the precinct for which he was appointed. Such overseer shall execute
bond before said board of supervisors, with good security, in the penalty
of five hundred dollars, conditioned for the faithful performance of his
duties as overseer.
