Chap. 157.—An ACT making an appropriation for the benefit of the Virginia
State horticultural society.
Approved March 14, 1904.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That for the
purpose of enabling the Virginia State horticultural society to publish
and distribute its annual report, and for such other purposes as are set
forth in the charter of said society, there is hereby appropriated an-
nually for the fiscal years ending thirtieth September, nineteen hundred
and four, and the thirtieth of September, nineteen hundred and five,
the sum of five hundred dollars out of the revenue to be derived from
the tax on fertilizers, and the auditor of public accounts is hereby
directed to draw his warrant on the treasurer of the State for any sum
not in excess of the amount above named upon presentation to him by
the president and treasurer of said society of duly itemized bills of ex-
penditure made in pursuance of the objects of this act.
2. All laws or parts of laws in conflict with this act are hereby re-
pealed.
