Chap. 154.—An ACT to validate certain orders of publication heretofore made
without compliance with the provisions of section 3231 of the Code of Virginia,
as amended by an act approved December 10, 1903.

Whereas, the provisions of section three thousand two hundred and
thirty-one of the Code of Virginia, as to posting orders of publication,
as amended by am act approved December tenth, nineteen hundred and
three, may have been ignored by clerks to whom the provisions of said
section, as amended, may not have become known; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That all orders
of publication heretofore posted in accordance with the laws existing
prior to December tenth, nineteen hundred and three, be, and they are
hereby, validated and made as legal and binding upon all parties to the
same extent and in the same manner as if the provisions of the act ap-
proved December tenth, nineteen hundred and three, had been complied
with.
2. On account of the confusion and suits that may be occasioned
unless this act shall prevent the same, this act shall be in force from its
passage.
