Chap. 146.—An ACT in relation to fish ladders on the Rapidan river between the
counties of Culpeper, Orange, and Madison.

Approved March 14, 1904.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That no person,
firm or corporation owning or operating a dam across the Rapidan rivet
between the counties of Culpeper, Orange and Madison shall be required
to erect any fish ladder on said dam.

2. Any law or part of law in conflict herewith is hereby repealed.

3. It appearing that in order to make this act of any value it is
necessary that it should be in force at once, an emergency therefore
existing, this act shall be in force from its passage.
