Chap. 586.—An ACT to repeal so much of an act approved Decembe
repeals section 3525 of the Code of Virginia, and to amend and re
3525 of the Code of Virginia.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, Th
of section two of an act approved December thirty-first, nit
dred and three, as repeals section thirty-five hundred and tw
the Code of Virginia, be, and the same is hereby. repealed.

2. Be it further enacted, That section thirty-five hundred :
five of the Code of Virginia be amended and re-enacted so a
follows :

§ 3525. To sheriffs and sergeants—For attending any cil
two dollars for each day. And the judge of any such court
any deputy, whose attendance he may deem necessarv and re
assistant to the principal office, such compensation as he may
and proper, not exceeding two dollars per day.

3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
